As an art student, Martin Hudáček of Slovakia was moved to create a sculpture to draw attention to the devastation abortion can bring to the woman, and to the fact that through the love and mercy of God, reconciliation and healing are possible.

Petition Ministries exists to offer abortion healing programs.  We extend hope, healing and closure for all who are affected by abortion.

We are a 501 (C)(3) non-profit religious charity; cross-denominational organization creating the means for individuals and society-at-large to start on the path toward healing.

By circulating “petitions” to grant the dignity of a name to babies lost through abortion, we establish Recognition.

Petition Memorials then facilitate acknowledgment of the need for Repentance and establish the fact that Reconciliation is necessary to begin the healing process toward Redemption and Restoration.

Petitions of prayer along the way aid the process of getting through these five “R’s”

Petition Memorials offer comfort, forgiveness, healing, hope, and closure for those affected by abortion. This comfort takes place only when the issue is addressed.

The subject is so controversial in our society that most people would rather not discuss it. Why can’t we sweep it under the rug? Why do we have to open old wounds or acknowledge unborn babies? Why do we need to ask God for forgiveness if it’s only a “choice?”

Our desire is to answer these questions and provide a safe outlet for working through the complexities associated with the abortion issue. Our focus is on providing closure to the women, men and families whose hearts are broken or wounded because of the loss.

It may be such a deep wound, however, that healing can only take place by invasive “surgery.” That procedure must be entered into in a way that does not frighten its patient, but carefully brings that person into willingness to being restored.

Because of the atrocity of abortion, our nation deserves judgment. However, the Bible states in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that “if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

By participating in a “Petition Memorial” or by supporting this ministry, you can partner with others who believe we must come before the throne of God to ask for mercy regarding this issue.

The voices of the innocents cry out to God for justice. Genesis 4:10 states, “…what have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground,” and Numbers 35:33 shows the result. “So you shall not pollute the land in which you are; for blood pollutes the land and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.” Because of this, the enemy of our souls accuses us before the Lord and demands our judgment.

However…

God wants to offer mercy. Jesus Christ came to this earth as the Holy and innocent Son of God to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin. He provided a way for us to be cleansed of our sins by dying on the cross, but we must apply that precious shed blood through the act of repentance.

How can we make a difference?

By cooperating with life affirming organizations and others who take a pro-life stance on abortion.  Petition Ministries facilitates and establishes state-wide and nation-wide memorial services to bring together the Body of Christ to intercede or stand in the gap for those who are unable or unwilling to do so.  Our desire is to offer abortion healing to all who are in need.  You can help us make a difference!
