The Nehemiah Wall

Abortion Healing Is Available For You!

Introducing our newest fundraising campaign!  The Nehemiah Wall is for those who wish to help us build the ministry just like a wall around the fortress of righteousness the Jews built in the city of Jerusalem they had returned to rebuild. For only $10.00, your name can be “chiseled” on a virtual “Jerusalem Stone” for all to see!  This fundraiser will help Petition Ministries with our free services of abortion healing.

According to the principles stated in the Bible, abortion has caused the land of our nation to become polluted.  In the Old Testament, the people of God did such evil in their land of promise that God finally expelled them and cast them into the hands of evil men.  The Word speaks of pollution in Psalm 106 but also reveals how loving God is.  He wants to save.

35 But they mingled with the Gentiles and learned their works; 36 They served their idols, which became a snare to them.  37 They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons, 38 And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.  39 Thus they were defiled by their own works, and played the harlot by their own deeds.  40 Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against His people, so that He abhorred His own inheritance.  41 And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those who hated them ruled over them.  42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.  43 Many times He delivered them; but they rebelled in their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.  44 Nevertheless He regarded their affliction, when He heard their cry; 45 And for their sake He remembered His covenant, and relented according to the multitude of His mercies.  46 He also made them to be pitied by all those who carried them away captive.

We believe the people of God can still cry out to God for mercy even though abortion has become rampant and continues to shed the blood of innocent children.  This process is reminiscent of the situation Nehemiah faced when he discovered that God wanted to restore the captives.

…“You see the bad situation we are in, that Jerusalem is desolate and its gates burned by fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no longer be a reproach.” – Nehemiah 2:17

“The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build,” –  Nehemiah 2:19b

This cry echoes out as an anthem in our day.  His servants will arise and build…  Are you one of His Servants?  If you are, your participation is vital.  Petition Ministries is working to offer the hope, healing and closure necessary to restore people to wholeness who have been devastated by abortion.  We need the help of many people in the battle to rebuild the walls of righteousness and justice in the United States.  That’s why we’re launching a campaign called Nehemiah’s Wall.

“Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; You will raise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the breach, The restorer of the streets in which to dwell.
Isaiah 58:12

This campaign will raise funds to get the message out to every state in our nation that God wants to heal us, restore us, and remove our reproach from us.  We can help like the people of Nehemiah’s day by becoming repairers of the breach.  Petition Ministries has a dream of a new day – a day without abortion’s face of shame.  We want to hold Petition Memorials in every county of every state to “cover” the bloodguilt from abortion in the entire land.

It’s looming as big as the wall Nehemiah was trying to rebuild.  It’s a big goal, but Prayer warriors, Intercessors, and teams of Volunteers will work to see this vision come to pass.  However, we can’t do the job if everyone does not have a mind to work.  We need supporters who will stand for righteousness and justice by donating of their substance, even in tough times like Nehemiah’s people did.  Despite the people who came against Nehemiah, the work was completed.  The voices of opposition hit us every day in our nation.  We can’t allow their rhetoric to stop the work or to discourage us.

6 “So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.” – Nehemiah 4:6

16 “From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates; and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah. 17 Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon. 18 As for the builders, each wore his sword girded at his side as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me. 19 I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall far from one another. 20 At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.” – Nehemiah 4:16-20

I hear the sound of the trumpet!  Do you?  Will you answer the call?

Like the people of God doing that work, today, we have a huge wall to build back up.  Complacency is not an option any longer.  We must all do our part in whatever way we can to see God’s purpose for our Nation restored.  Won’t you help Petition Ministries do its part of offering abortion healing?  Will you pick up a stone with one hand and hold up your spiritual weapon in the other hand to do your part?

If you want to support this work, one way you can do that is by purchasing a Jerusalem Stone to place in our Nehemiah Wall.  This online wall is being built one stone on another by people just like you who want to see the battle against abortion won.  Your name will be posted on the “stone” you purchase and a statement will be made to the naysayers that life matters, and God’s purposes will be carried out.

The war is upon us.  Buy your piece of the Nehemiah Wall today!  Click the stone to sign up.
